Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw, also known as Elizabeth Alice MacGraw, is an American author and designer who has won numerous awards for her writing and design. She is a proponent of the rights of animals. Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus '69 and The Getaway 72 are among her most acclaimed films. Her family was an artistic family from New York and wanted to explore a career in the arts. The first job she had was a photo assistant. Then she moved on to acting and modeling. Her first two movies were noticed, and she was awarded recognition with the Golden Globe Award of Most Newcomer of the Year. The MacGraw's Love Story from 1970 was one of the biggest hits that gained fame to the world in addition to being an Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe Award. Within three years, she was named the top female box office participant in the entire world. Her handprints and signatures were recorded at Grauman's Chinese Theater. She has starred in several other films including The Getaway Convoy Players and the miniseries on TV The Winds of War among other. In 1991, her autobiography Moving Pictures came out. MacGraw's been married three different times.
