Ina-Garten

Ina Garden is a famous American book author, who has received Emmy awards. She is the host of the longest-running Food Network show, Barefoot Contessa. The series began in 2002. It is scheduled to air for 27 more seasons. Ina started her career as a writer for the White House, writing the nuclear energy budget and other policy documents. In the beginning, she was enthralled by the intellectual challenge of her job, but quickly began to lose enthusiasm. Instead she bought Barefoot Contessa, a specialty food shop. It took her nearly 18 years to turn the store into extremely successful before she decided to sell it. After that, she started writing her first cookbook. Other cookbooks followed, as did magazine columns. Her Food Network TV show also was launched, and was a huge hit. In addition, she sells everything from equipment to cooking supplies and containers. Ina never went to an institution for cooking or did she work in a dining establishment. Ina is a self-taught cook. Her relaxed approach to entertaining and her straightforward cooking style is well-known. Her most well-known recipes include quick and easy recipes, such as Skillet of Roasted Lemon Chicken Macaroni, Cheese and with Beef Bourguignon and the Balsamic-Roasted Brussels Sprouts.
