Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise was an American actress, performer, and writer who is best known in the role of Ginger Grant from the TV show Gilligan's Island. Her acting career began as a stage performer in the 1950s starting with Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. Later, in 1956, she got her first big break on Broadway along with Li'l abner. In 1957, she released her debut music album called It's time for Tina. Louise was the first to make her debut in Hollywood playing Griselda Walden on God's little Acre, a film about drama that was released in 1958.The film received a lot of praise and Louise won her Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the Year category. When she was an undergraduate in Lee Strasberg, she attended the Actors Studio New York. The next role she starred in was from 1964, when she signed with CBS to portray Ginger Grant in 1964. Louise kept juggling her career effectively with a variety of roles between Broadway television and Hollywood portraying somber characters as against her perceived image of an attractive model. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. She has also appeared in SG-1 as well as Helen Magnus, but in the last few years she's gained recognition as a director on several well-known TV shows such as Supernatural. She was birthed in Essex August 28th on the 28th of August, 1965. Her family then moved to Toronto for her childhood. Samantha Carter settled in Vancouver, Canada after her selection for the role of lead.
