It began her career modeling, however as she began to gain international acclaim, she decided to take on acting. She started her acting career in 1995 with the television series Baywatch Nights. It is also a form of voice acting she performs. Harmon was the voice of an animated film adaptation of Batman Beyond Return of the Joker. Harmon quit TV in early 2000, to devote herself solely to making films.
