Luciana Paoluzzi lived in Rome in Italy, where she was raised by both her parents. Luciana Paoluzzi had a father who was a retired Italian soldier, as well as her mother Maria Rota Paoluzzi. She was also a lover with Benito Mussolini. The siblings of Luciana are not known. Luciana attended the local high school, and, after graduation in 1955, was a student at the Naval Engineering department of the Scientific Academy of Milan. It was her only female in her class. In two years, she started her modeling career. Soon after, she had the opportunity to appear in Three Coins in the Fountain during a trip to Rome visiting a close family friend of her father. Tony was greatly influenced by her performance in the movie Green Slime and based on the script he wrote as well as his own mixed Spaghetti Western for which he gained some recognition.
